Please join us January 11 from 9-11:30 AM for a virtual educational event and earn 2 CE’s (no worries about driving in snow and ice)!

Our first speaker will be Carissa Quinn RN DNP. She works at Mayo Clinic and is a Nurse Manager of Clinical Nurse Specialists and Nursing Quality and Analytics. Carissa’s presentation will be “Thriving in a Challenging Work Environment.” This interactive session will encourage participants to take action in their current work setting to build personal resilience, influence culture, and drive effective change efforts.

Our second speaker will be Jane Pelosi-Kelly ANP-BC MSN. Jane is a Palliative care nurse practitioner for Endeavor Health. Her presentation will be “Moving from Cure to Comfort in the ICU!” This session will be an overview of needed primary palliative care skills for critical care nurses when assisting patients and families transition from curative/ restorative based care to comfort based care to support a peaceful & dignified EOL plan of care.
